The Six Months Smiles system utilizes clear aligners or tooth-colored wires and brackets to align the teeth. In the initial consultation, the patient has a chance to see how their teeth are going to move into their ideal position and how long it will take. 

Once the braces are placed or the aligners are worn, movement of the teeth will start quickly. The focus is primarily on the visible teeth and moving them into their correct alignment with the other teeth.
